FanFest 2018

The University of Kansas Health System at Royals FanFest

Sports medicine professionals and volunteers from The University of Kansas Health System will offer expertise, advice and fun at the 2018 Royals FanFest Friday, January 26, and Saturday, January 27, at Bartle Hall.

Baseball fans can ask the experts specific questions during sessions with physicians, trainers and physical therapists. Topics will include concussion, nutrition and general sports medicine. Fans can also test their batting swing as our physical therapists analyze their mechanics using a special K-vest, which measures alignment and movement. Volunteers will also take photos and email fans their own baseball trading card.

A portion of proceeds from Royals FanFest will benefit Royals Charities, which supports the Family Dugout waiting room in Cambridge Tower A and other health system initiatives. The University of Kansas Health System is the official healthcare provider of the Kansas City Royals.
